OneDeen is an AI-powered Islamic knowledge platform providing answers grounded in authentic scholar lectures, Quran recitation, prayer calculations, educational courses, and spiritual tools.
2. Description of Service
OneDeen provides users with access to:
- AI Assistant & Semantic Search: AI answers based on transcripts from recognized Islamic scholars, accompanied by timestamps and YouTube video references.
- Prayer Times & Qibla Compass: Location-based calculation of prayer schedules (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) and real-time compass orientation pointing to Mecca.
- Quran & Audio Player: Surah texts, translations, and background audio recitations.
- Azkar & Duas: Daily Azkar catalog with counter tools and customizable notification reminders.
- Islamic Courses & Exams: Video lecture modules, quizzes, progress tracking, and certificates.

3. User Accounts & Security
3.1 Account Creation
You must sign in using a valid Apple or Google account to access personalized features such as chat history, AI credits, and course progress.
3.2 User Obligations
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities occurring under your authenticated account.
4. AI Credits & In-App Purchases
4.1 AI Search Credits
Certain advanced AI search and query capabilities require digital credits. Users can purchase credit packs through Apple In-App Purchase in the OneDeen iOS app, Google Play Billing in the Android app, or the available checkout provider on the web platform.
4.2 Payment Terms & Digital Goods Policy
- In-App Payments: Mobile credit purchases are processed securely by Apple or Google. Payment terms are governed by the applicable app store's terms.
- Non-Refundable: AI search credits are consumable digital goods. Once added to your account balance or consumed for AI queries, purchases are non-refundable, except where required by Google Play billing policies or applicable law.
- Non-Transferable: Credits have no monetary value outside OneDeen and cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for cash.
5. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct
You agree to use OneDeen only for lawful and respectful purposes. You must NOT:
- Use the AI Assistant to generate or spread misinformation, hate speech, or content distorting established Islamic scholarship.
- Attempt to "jailbreak", prompt-inject, or manipulate the AI model into producing harmful or improper content.
- Use automated scripts, web scrapers, or bots to harvest data or flood the Service.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or compromise the security of our application, API endpoints, or databases.
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws while using the Service.
6. Sensor Accuracy & Location Disclaimers
- Prayer Times: Calculation accuracy depends on the selected calculation authority (MWL, ISNA, Egypt, etc.) and your device location settings. Users should verify timing with local mosques when necessary.
- Qibla Compass: Compass orientation accuracy relies on your device's hardware sensors (magnetometer/accelerometer) and proper calibration. Magnetic interference from nearby objects or metallic structures may affect readings.
7. Intellectual Property
The OneDeen platform, logo, brand design, mobile application code, and backend algorithms are owned by OneDeen and protected by intellectual property laws.
Islamic lecture content and transcriptions belong to their respective original scholars, channels, and publishers. OneDeen indexes and attributes these materials for educational and search purposes with direct video references.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee:
- That AI-generated responses will be 100% error-free or exhaustive.
- That the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or completely secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OneDeen shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including decisions made based on AI-generated content or prayer time calculations.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate account access without notice if a user violates these Terms of Service or engages in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behavior. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting support.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of OneDeen after changes constitutes your binding acceptance.
